How long have you been riding for and what got you into riding?
July of last year I took classes. Then I didn't ride until March of this year when I took the classes again. I've always dreamed of owning and riding a motorcycle ever since I was a kid.
What kind of impact had riding had for you? Has riding helped you to overcome a hardship in your life, if yes how?
It's made me feel a lot more confident and proud of what I can achieve. Facing fears and having a community of women I can relate with. Having their support and giving support has been amazing.
Do you prefer to ride solo or groups and why?
I prefer solo and smaller groups. I did a ride with a big group and I feel like my confidence level isn't there yet. I like to follow the rules and ride at my pace.
What kind of bike do you have and why? What kind of riding do you do or have you done?
Harley Davidson Street 500. I've only done riding on roads and a bit on the highway. I haven't gone offroad but I want to try dirt biking.
What's been your favorite or most memorable riding experience?
When I decided to get on the highway by myself and felt free. I was so nervous because I try to keep to smaller roads, but that time I decided to just go for it. I'm so glad I did because I've been pushing myself to take the highway a bit more, even if it's only a couple exits.
Future riding goals/ plans?
I want to practice riding further out so that next year I can ride out to the pilgrimage, or dream roll.
What else would like to ask to your fellow riders?
What made you feel confident in your riding?
