How long have you been riding for and what got you into riding?

I’ve been riding for 1 year as an adult. As a kid I rode dirt bikes and had a bad accident and never got back in a bike again. It has always been a dream to ride again one day when I felt brave enough. Last year for my birthday my family got me 2 dirt bike lessons at popkum motor park. After my first lesson I got passed my fear and fell completely in love with dirt biking! I bought a Kawasaki KX250F and went out a few times with it, by next riding season I had only had a few opportunities to ride my dirt bike living in the city and all so I decided to sell it and buy a city bike instead. I signed up for Moto school ASAP and the rest is history. I’ll still always love riding in the dirt but my new love for cruising windy roads out to magical destinations has completely taken over and I’m excited for all of the adventures to come!

What kind of impact had riding had for you? Has riding helped you to overcome a hardship in your life, if yes how?

Riding is better than drugs. My mind feels the most free when I ride. It’s like meditation for me. I’m completely addicted

Do you prefer to ride solo or groups and why?

I like to ride solo and in groups. Riding solo is peaceful and at my own pace. Groups are fun, especially riding with more advance riders and that naturally pushes me beyond my usual comfort zone in a positive way.

What kind of bike do you have and why? What kind of riding do you do or have you done? (Dirt, off road/enduro, road trips etc.)

I ride a 2007 Suzuki Boulevard S50 / 800cc I like the aesthetic of 1990s motorcycles. This one is a city cruiser. Does well on the highways and getting around Vancouver. Best of both worlds.

What's been your favorite or most memorable riding experience?

So far it was riding the sea 2 sky with the Litas from Vancouver to Squamish! Kim Okabe, the founder of The Litas Vancouver is an inspirational rider and one of the people that inspires me to be more fearless by trusting my abilities, commitment and perseverance to riding like a pro! She keeps the whole group safe and leads one hell of an epic group ride!

Future riding goals/ plans?

My main riding goal is to become the best rider I can be! Future plans include a ride across Canada next season and more days in the dirt!
